Truckee Sheriff

The men are in WW1 uniforms and the women appear to be in some sort of women's auxiliary uniform.

The dock in Tahoe City was the terminus for the Lake Tahoe Railway & Transportation Company railroad lines. Freight and passengers could then take the Steamer Tahoe to destinations around Lake Tahoe. This photo was shot right after Word War One.
